Glass of life

I have drunk

Deep into the glass

Of my life.

The last dregs

Still remain to reflect on

How I spent my days.

That's a lovely take on the prompt. Loved it. :)

don't reflect too deeply, have another glass and pick up your pen and write another lovely poem

I liked that, very succinct and poignant.
Thanks for visiting me yesterday.

Thanks for your comments, Isabel. Too serious poem, eh? This was what came to my mind the moment I saw the picture.

Sad to think we have nothing left in the end but dregs. I wasn't familiar with Shadoma. Thanks for introducing me to it. I may try my own hand at it.

Hmm.. very wise, TF :) but it sort of reminded me of Trelawney reading tea leaves :) nice form, I'll try it out soon!

btw, could u plz make your comment form as popup? the embedded one makes it difficult to comment sometimes :)

T F Carthick said...

Thanks, Vinay. Ha, Trelawney? I was thinking where I had heard the name. Then it clicked. Its been years since I read Harry Potter. Do try this form. I though embedded comments are more friendly for smart phones and office browsers. is that not so? Ayways let me change it and see if it increases comment flow.
